Denny Hamlin won the race Nascar Sprint Cup Series at Texas Motor Speedway, ahead of Matt Kenseth and Mark Martin. Leader of the general classification, Jimmie Johnson placed ninth.
Thanks to this success, Denny Hamlin is the new leader of the Sprint Cup, with 33 points ahead of Jimmie Johnson and 59 over Kevin Harvick. The other drivers are out of the race, with only two events remaining.
