Juho Hänninen no longer needs to score any more points to be crowned Champion of the 2010 IRC season. His closest opponent, Jan Kopecky, who is also his teammate at Skoda Motorsport, is not entered by the Czech manufacturer in the RACMSA Rally of Scotland which will start tomorrow. However, Hänninen does not intend to make up the numbers in the event which Kris Meeke, 2009 Champion, considers to be “the most beautiful rally in the world”.
« I will do everything to fight for victory », announced Juho Hänninen before the start of the event. “ I'm going to Scotland to win the rally, without having to think about the Championship. We will have to see what the team wants first but I will try to take more risks to achieve victory. »
