Mikko Hirvonen (Ford Fiesta Super 2000) wins the Rally Monte-Carlo, after leading from start to finish, having held the lead in the general classification at the end of each of the special stages. The Finn achieved three stage wins and made no mistakes, leaving the elimination race to take its toll.

The podium is completed by Juho Hänninen and Nicolas Vouilloz, two Skoda Fabia S2000 drivers who were able to show consistency to reach the finish. Stéphane Sarrazin (Peugeot 207 S2000) finished just off the podium, on which he was on last year (3rd). Followed by Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia S2000), Guy Wilks (Skoda Fabia S2000), Bruno Magalhaes (Peugeot 207 S2000) and Jean-Sébastien Vigion (Peugeot 207 S2000).
