Nasser Al-Attiyah, second in the last Dakar, winner of the first round of the Middle East Rally Championship in Qatar and entered in S-WRC, will participate in the IRC round in Argentina, which will follow that of Curitiba in Brazil. The Qatari will drive the Skoda Fabia Super 2000 of the Belgian René Georges Rally Sport Team.
