Fifth in the last two rounds of the IRC, Guy Wilks and his co-driver Phil Pugh hope to return to the podium this weekend, at the Rally of the Azores. The Briton also hopes that these punctures that he often suffers from will leave him alone.

“Often I don’t even know where they occur, underlines the pilot Peugeot UK. This makes it difficult to know how to correct myself. There is an element of bad luck, I am convinced. I hope she will abandon me. All I know about the Azores is its famous anticyclone, the presence of which is often synonymous with good weather? here, because it seems that there the showers are frequent and the weather changes as quickly as in Ireland. This promises us lots of fun! This will be my first race on gravel at the wheel of the 207 S2000, but I feel prepared, because my two days of testing allowed me to both get to grips with it and adapt its settings to my driving. We worked well, especially on the shock absorbers. I will start with full confidence. »
