Kris Meeke (Peugeot 207 S2000) achieved the best time in SS10, the first special of the second stage of the Rally Principle of Asturias. The leader of the IRC general classification was six tenths ahead of Giandomenico Bass (Abarth Grande Punto S2000) and Nicolas Vouilloz (Peugeot 207 S2000).
In the general classification of the Rally, Basso still leads, ahead of Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia S2000), who got the better of Alberto Hevia (Skoda Fabia S2000). Victory should be decided between the three men, barring any incident, Nicolas Vouilloz being fourth more than two minutes behind.
