After taking fifth place at the Barum Rally Zin, Andreas Mikkelsen is preparing to compete in the Rally of Hungary which will take place next week. The Skoda driver hopes to achieve a good result for this new event on the IRC Championship calendar.
“I really like the challenge that a new rally presents”, assures the Norwegian. “I have a very good system of notes with my co-driver and we are usually as fast in the first pass as in the second. The fact that the Mecsek Rallye is new for all IRC drivers is a good thing for us and that should work in our favor. The team has a lot of experience in Hungary. After the pace shown at Barum, I am sure that we will be competitive there and we have a good chance of achieving a good result. »
