In order to prepare for the earthy surface of the Rally from Scotland, Andreas Mikkelsen won the Azzano Rally last weekend with a Rally Team Italia Skoda Fabia S2000. Skoda UK Motorsport Senior Director Pierfrancesco Zanchi is now confident in his Norwegian driver's abilities on gravel.
“The Azzano Rally stages are not as fast as the Scottish stages, so the events are quite different”, explains the main director. “However, Andreas will head to Scotland with the thrill of driving on gravel, having recently competed in three asphalt rallies in a row. We will also carry out a test session to properly refine the set-up but his latest victory last weekend will clearly be useful to him. »
