The result of rally of Scotland, the final round of the 2009 IRC championship, will not be official until early next week. At the end of the checks carried out after arrival in Stirling, the FIA technical stewards decided to complete their investigation into the conformity of the cradle before the Peugeot 207 Super 2000 from the Kronos team.
Kris Meeke's first place at the RAC Rally of Scotland will therefore not be official until the test is carried out at an approved center next Monday. Guy Wilks, provisional 2nd in the Skoda Fabia, could thus recover victory on the green carpet.
