Despite his setbacks during previous events, Guy Wilks arrives at Sanremo with the necessary motivation to tackle this event in the best possible way. The pilot Peugeot hopes to achieve a good result in this rally where he has some experience. The Briton set the 4th fastest time in the shakedown behind Andreas Mikkelsen (Skoda), Bryan Bouffier and Bruno Magalhaes (Peugeot).
“This will be the fourth time I ride here, so I know the special stages well”, explains Guy Wilks. “We tested in Italy on Monday and the car was very good. We are now in a good position and I hope we will translate this into a good result. The rally requires you to adopt a good pace. Unfortunately, we were not able to do this for one reason or another. »
