In addition to the second round of the French Championship of Rallycross, Kerlabo hosted the French round of the European Championship this weekend. In Division 1, 31 drivers, including 14 French, competed. The only Habs in the A final, Davy Jeanney (Citroën WRC ), winner at Essay three weeks ago, finished fourth and therefore pocketed the 20 points for victory in the French Championship. It was the Swede Michael Jernberg (Skoda Fabia “WRC”) who won in this final.
In Division 1A, Steven Bossard was sparkling. Brilliantly qualified in pole position for the final in front of the European leaders, the 19-year-old young man imposed his Citroën C2 S1600.
