The television cameras missed it in great detail, however Kevin Hansen (Peugeot ) was the victim of a serious accident during the final of the World Championship rallycross (World RX) Sunday in Estering (Germany). The Swede was evacuated in an ambulance to the nearest hospital, from where he reassured his fans with a Tweet:
I'm okay! It was my biggest crash yet. It's a shame the weekend had to finish this way. I grazed the barrier in turn 4 and sent my car into the wall in turn 5. I was conscious the whole time but had pain in my back. After a stop at the hospital, I am good to go pic.twitter.com/AE7Gfmj9jG

" I'm doing well ! This was my biggest crash yet. It's a shame to end the weekend on this note. I hit the barriers at turn 4, which sent me straight into the wall at the next turn. I remained conscious the whole time but felt pain in my back. After a stop at the hospital, I'm ready to be discharged. »
