The third qualifying round of the Trois-Rivières event in Canada was won by the reigning World RX world champion Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen Polo – PSRX VW Sweden).
The Swede, despite contact with Kevin Eriksson (Ford Fiesta – Olsbergs MSE), set the best cumulative time of the three races in this Q3 and took the opportunity to move up to third place in the provisional ranking behind Sébastien Loeb (Peugeot 208 WRX – Team Peugeot Total) and Petter Solberg (Volkswagen Polo – PSRX VW Sweden).
The Frenchman was, however, involved in a collision in his heat with Mattias Ekström (Audi S1 – EKS RX), with both drivers ending up against the wall. If Loeb was able to restart to finish last in his race, Ekström was unable to cross the finish line, the victim of a mechanical problem, obviously with his steering.

Le clan GCK RX a de nouveau été victime de malchance, Guerlain Chicherit étant la victime de la sortie de Timur Timerzyanov (Hyundai i20 – GRX), avec une roue avant gauche endommagée.

Disaster as @T_Timerzyanov crashes out of the lead and is collected by @GChicherit, creating a traffic jam at the end of the lap. @Robinlarsson_4 capitalize to take the win.
