Supercar – Yacco Trophy
The two leaders of the French Championship, Fabien Pailler (Peugeot 208) and Florent Béduneau (Peugeot 208), managed to get out of complicated heats by taking first and second position respectively in the intermediate classification in front of an astonishing Emmanuel Anne (Peugeot 208).
During the B semi-final, another man put himself forward, Guerlain Chicherit (Renault Clio)! In the ‘A’, the 2014 French Champion, Fabien Pailler, left his opponents no chance.
In the final, despite a strong start, Florent Béduneau and Fabien Pailler monopolized the first two ranks while Jonathan Pailler (Peugeot 208) stopped on the first lap. Thanks to a better strategy and a controlled attack, the Breton won a second success ahead of the driver from Ecurie Océan Mayenne and Guerlain Chicherit, back on a podium after his Essay victory. An excellent operation for the driver of Team Pailler Compétition even if the title is not yet acquired.
To the delight of the Mayenne public, David Meslier (DS 3) and Emmanuel Anne (Peugeot 208) took fourth and fifth place! After missing his start, David Olivier (Dacia Logan) had to settle for sixth place ahead of Guy Moreton (VW Scirocco). Still in the running for the title, Philippe Maloigne (Peugeot 208) was the big loser of the weekend.
