Interviewed by AUTOhebdo, Mathieu Lahaye admitted to being pleasantly surprised by his third fastest time in the LMP2 category during qualifying:
» We didn't drive much yesterday (Friday, editor's note) due to an engine failure, said the driver of the No. 24 OAK Racing Pescarolo Judd. We have come a long way. We received the 2010 aero quite late, and we are starting to get to grips with it. Work pays. Now 8 hours is a long time. Everyone needs to get back into the swing of things, the goal is to be at the finish, and given our level of performance, if we get there, we should be on the podium. »
