The inaugural Extreme E season was scheduled to start with an event in Saudi Arabia on March 20-21. But the resumption of the health crisis led the organizers to postpone the deadline.
The new calendar plans to start on the weekend of April 3 and 4, 2021. The competitors will then travel to Senegal on May 29 and 30 then to Nepal on August 29 and 29, to Brazil on October 23 and 24 and finally to Argentina on December 11 and 12.
This is the second time that the debut of the series has been postponed, since it was initially scheduled to start in January in Senegal.
