Natalia Granada becomes the youngest driver to join the Iron Dames team, which will support the Spaniard in her progress in karting, a first for the 100% female team.

The Iron Dames project extends to karting with Natalia Granada

After the GT, Iron Dames launches into the karting. The Italian team, composed exclusively of female drivers, announced that the promising Natalia Granada will become the first woman to represent the project in karting, a first for the structure founded by Deborah Mayer. The 14-year-old Spaniard, who started karting at the age of 11, will take part in a number of prestigious competitions throughout the 2023 calendar, including the IAME Euro Series, the Spanish Karting Championship (CEK), the WSK Open Series and the WSK Final Cup Champions Cup.

 

Through this new collaboration, Iron Dames wants to inspire and support young women from the early stages of their careers. “Natalia is a promising driver and we look forward to fully supporting her throughout the season, rejoiced the founder of the Iron Dames project, Deborah Mayer. Natalia’s arrival on board marks an important step in achieving the overall goals of the Iron Dames project. As well as being a proud partner of the FIA ​​Women in Motorsport Rising Star programme, we believe it is time for us to step up our support for young talent in a management role, providing additional support to help more of women to enter motorsport. »
