The World Championship Rallycross announced this Wednesday the end of its collaboration, with immediate effect, with the Belgian circuit Jules Tacheny de Mettet. The track had been part of World RX since the series' debut in 2014.
“We would like to thank the RUMESM (Royal Union de l’Entre Sambre et Meuse) and all those who participated in the organization of the World RX in Mettet, comments Paul Bellamy, boss of World RX at IMG.
We had five fantastic years together. RUMESM and Circuit de Mettet have been magnificent hosts but both parties agree that the time has now come to part ways. We wish RUMESM and the Circuit de Mettet every success in the future. »
The 2019 World RX schedule remains to be confirmed.
