The 24 2022 Hours Karting will not take place

While this year, the 24 Hours Karting were to make their return, the 35th edition will ultimately not take place. Already postponed twice, the karting will not return to the Le Mans International Karting Circuit. While the health context had been the reason for the last postponement, this time, it was the insufficient number of competitors which pushed the Automobile Club de l’Ouest to review its plans.

« ‘ACO is already working on planning a new date next year and on solutions to reconnect with a significant field. The ACO would like to reiterate its attachment to karting, which represents the first step in motorsport. » As a reminder, in 2019, 27 crews competed in the 24 Hours Karting at Le Mans.
