Le Mans Series tests at Le Castellet helped to highlight the qualities of the new Oreca 03 LM P2 chassis. The first day, Friday, saw TDS Racing set the best time thanks to its duo Mathias Beche and Pierre Thiriet. A successful start for the team, a newcomer to the category, a former Mégane Trophy champion, who discovered his Nissan-powered prototype the same morning. The Béziers team covered 63 laps without encountering any problems. The next day, Saturday, despite competition from the Lola B11/40-Judd of Pecom Racing (new structure linked to AF Corse), it was again a Var chassis equipped with the Nissan which shone. If TDS continued its domination in the morning, in the afternoon it was Race Performance's turn to occupy the top of the hierarchy.
