From his first official participation in Le Mans shows, Aston Martin wins with the 007 from the Charouz/Enge/Mücke crew. The British LMP1 prototype had stolen the lead of the race from the No. 16 Pescarolo of Boullion/Tinseau 25 minutes from the finish. The #10 Courage-Oreca of Ortelli/Senna completes the podium in the general classification.
