Bruno Magalhaes was on track to score a podium on home soil, but the Portuguese retired in the final stage following a transmission failure on his 207 S2000. “It was the rear differential support that gave way, it almost fell to the ground”, explains the pilot Peugeot .
“There was nothing to do, it was once again bad luck as we were fighting for a podium. We were aiming for the top three, but once again I had to stop and this is very difficult to accept. It's all the more frustrating since everyone supports me in the country and I was able to achieve a very good result. But this is what happened,” adds the Peugeot driver.
