Mark Martin wins and replaces himself

Veteran Mark Martin won the Chicagoland race, after leading the field for more than two-thirds of the race. He ultimately beats Jeff Gordon, Kasey Kahne and Tony Stewart. In the general classification, Martin places himself, with a view to the chase, in eleventh position.
