Jamie McMurray won the AMP Energy 500 at Talladega, finishing the race under a yellow flag. One lap from the end of the race, a major pile-up sent Mark Martin into trouble (watch the video), the veteran finding himself on the roof. A few laps earlier, Ryan Newman had also been the victim of an accident (watch the video). Sixth in the race after avoiding two accidents at the end of the race, Jimmie Johnson consolidates his position as leader of the Sprint Cup Series general classification.
