Mattias Ekström (Audi) was the fastest in Q4 of World RX in Mettet (Belgium). The boss-driver of EKS Audi Sport beat Sébastien Loeb (Peugeot ) and Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen), while Andreas Bakkerud (Audi) and Robin Larsson (Ford) completed the Top 5. Petter Solberg (Volkswagen) finished eighth behind Timmy Hansen (Peugeot) after being slowed down by poor conditions.
Guerlain Chicherit (Renault) signed the 12th fastest time behind the local François Duval (Audi), but his teammate Jérôme Grosset-Janin retired and rolled over. Grégoire Demoustier (Peugeot) completed the ranking.
At the end of the qualifying heats, Mattias Ekström is in the lead ahead of Timmy Hansen and Johan Kristoffersson. The two champions WRC Sébastien Loeb and Petter Solberg complete the Top 5. Guerlain Chicherit narrowly qualifies for the semi-finals by finishing 12th. On the other hand, Jérôme Grosset-Janin was eliminated by finishing 14th between the Belgians François Duval of Grégoire Demoustier.
