Montalegre: Solberg remains in the lead after Q4

Petter Solberg (Volkswagen Polo) remains in the lead after Q4 of the World RX in Montalegre (Portugal) won by Andreas Bakkerud (Ford Focus) who qualifies in 10th place after missing the joker lap in Q1.

Mattias Ekström (Audi S1) ranks 2nd after setting the 6th time in the last qualifying round and precedes Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen Polo) who only set the 12th time. PSRX Volkswagen Team Sweden driver ahead of Sébastien Loeb (Peugeot 208), author of the 3rd time in the last round.

Reinis Nitiss (Audi S1) completes the top five ahead of Janis Baumanis (Ford Fiesta) and the Hansen brothers Kevin and Timmy (Peugeot 208). Timur Timerzyanov dropped to 9th position. Ken Block (Ford Focus) and Toomas Heikkinen (Audi S1) complete the list of qualifiers, with Niclas Grönholm (Ford Fiesta) failing in 13th position. Timo Scheider (Ford Fiesta), brilliant in Barcelona (Spain), must also pack up.

The weekend also ends for DA Racing. Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (Peugeot 208) retained his 17th place while Grégoire Demoustier remained 21st.
