Jean-François Mourgues (Peugeot 307 WRC) achieved the best time in SS10, the penultimate special of the Critérium des Cévennes, and consolidated his position as leader in the general classification. He is now ahead of Guillaume Canivenq (Peugeot 207 S2000) by more than twenty-three seconds and should win this penultimate round of the French Rally Championship, at the end of the last, short special.
