Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing) signs his 4th victory of the season by winning for the first time on the Michigan oval, having managed to take the advantage over Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports) and maintain his position during the last restart. Brad Keselowski (Penske Racing) posted another good performance by taking third position ahead of Mark Martin (Hendrick Motorsports) and Ryan Newman (Stewart Haas Racing).
