Récompensant son vainqueur d’un chèque d’un million de dollars, le Sprint All-Star Race qui se déroulait cette nuit à Charlotte a été remporté par Carl Edwards. Le pilote de la Ford Fusion de la Roush-Fenway Racing a devancé les Toyota de Kyle Busch (Gibbs) et David Reutimann (Waltrip). Tony Stewart (Chevrolet Impala / Stewart-Haas) and Greg Biffle (Ford / Roush-Fenway) complete the top 5.
The race was largely dominated by Jack Roush's men since, with the exception of Busch and Jimmie Johnson, for a few laps, only Edwards and Biffle occupied the front. As this is a great opportunity to validate your settings in preparation for the Charlotte 600 which will take place next weekend, one of the team's Fords has a strong chance of winning.
