Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing) will start on pole for the Chase final in Miami ahead of Martin Truex Jr (Michael Waltrip Racing) and Kasey Kahne (Red Bull Racing Team), last winner in Phoenix. His rival for the title Tony Stewart (Stewart-Hass) will start from 15th place.
