Danica Patrick is expected to announce her plans for next year today. The resident of the Andretti Autosport team in IndyCar is likely to join the peloton of the Nascar Natonwide Series within JR Motorsports. She has already competed in several events in the discipline with a fourth place in Las Vegas as her best result.
The Andretti Autosport driver could also compete in a few Sprint Cup Series races in the Stewart-Haas Racing with a maximum of seven events in order to be able to maintain rookie status in 2013 if she were to compete for a full season at the top of Nascar.
