David Ragan will start from the pole for the Brickyard 400 race held on the Indianapolis oval. The Rush Fenway Racing driver leads Kasey Kahne (Red Bull Racing Team), Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports), Kurt Busch (Penske Racing) and Brad Keselowski (Penske Racing).
Championship leader Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing) will start from tenth position.
