The “veteran” of the peloton Nascar defeated all his rivals in the Darlington Sprint Cup race. After Matt Kenseth's victory in the Nationwide Series, Mark Martin, 50, is the big winner of the weekend. He finished the race (367 laps) ahead of Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart. Great performance from the Chevrolets, who occupied the first seven places in the race. In the general classification, it is still Jeff Gordon who leads the debates, ahead of Tony Stewart and Kurt Busch. Kenseth, 10th, and Martin, 11th, are well placed for the playoffs, which will only include the first twelve drivers.
