Replaced by Alex Lynn at Jaguar Racing in Formula E, Nelson Piquet Jr will find refuge in Titans RX as WildCard. The Brazilian will compete in four rounds of the European series, sharing his car with Alexander Wurz.
The old pilot Renault F1 will be at the start of the Trial rounds in France (June 29-30), Lydden Hill (July 27-28), in the MJP Arena in Austria (September 7-8) and Hungary (October 5-6).
This will not be the first experience for the son of the triple F1 world champion, since Nelson Piquet Jr had competed in the Global Rallycross Challenge in the United States between 2013 and 2016, and took part in a round of RX Lites in World RX in 2014. This entry in Titans RX completes his Brazilian Stock Car program.
