La Peugeot 908 Oreca, immobilized for more than a quarter of an hour in its stand after an hour of racing, is now nine laps behind the Audi R15 TDI and is aiming to overtake the GT2s to move up in the general classification. According to the Var team, the 908 suffered from a problem with the pneumatic jack, which allows the car to be lowered and raised with compressed air by connecting a gun to the car. This problem was perhaps caused by contact between the Peugeot 908 and the Audi R15 during the first few kilometers of the race, damaging the air intake intake.
