La Peugeot 908 HDi FAP from the Oreca team has logically set the best time (1:32:235) in the third free practice session at Portimao, venue for the third round of Le Mans Series. This session, which took place from 21:30 p.m. to 23 p.m. (22:30 p.m. to midnight in France) allowed the drivers to test the conditions that will be theirs at the end of the race, Saturday, since the 0 km must be reached around 1000 p.m., local time .
In LMP2, it was the Ginetta Zytek of the Quifel ASM Team which set the best time (1:35:227). In GT2, the Ferrari F430 GT have regained the upper hand since the n°96 and n°95 of AF Corse are placed in the first two ranks.
