Simond Pagenaud at the wheel of his Peugeot 908 HDi n°7 took pole position for the 1000 km of Spa-Francorchamps. He is only 28/1000 ahead of his teammate Alexander Wurz. The two 908s are ahead of the Lola Aston Martin of Darren Turner, the Oreca 01-AIM of Bruno Senna and the Pescarolo of Boullion-Tinseau who set the best time in the second free session this morning.
Simond Pagenaud: “It’s not easy to be fast all in one lap, because my momentum on my second fast lap was stopped by a red flag. Plus Alexander is all ready. But I'm starting to get used to the 908, because the windshield significantly changes the notion of speed.
