By setting a time of 1:07:187, Anthony Davidson offered Peugeot Sport the pole position of the Petit Le Mans. The Briton, who will share the No. 908 07 with Marc Gené and Alexander Wurz, beat the sister car of Sarrazin, Montagny and Lamy, the latter being responsible for qualifying the car. On the second row of the starting grid, we find the two Audi R15 plus, that of Fassler-Tréluyer-Lotterer preceding that of McNish-Capello-Kristensen. Note that the best car from the brand with the rings is only four tenths behind the fastest lioness.

En LMP2, c?est Lola Mazda du Dyson Racing de Smith-Dyson-Meyrick qui s?est montrée la plus véloce devant la Porsche RS Spyder Cytosport de Luhr-Maassen-Graf et l?HPD ARX-01c de Pagenaud-Brabham-M. Franchitti.

Still as hotly contested, the GT2 category saw both Ferrari F430 from Risi Competizione dominate the rest of the pack, that of Fisichella-Melo-Salo taking over its sister entrusted to Bruni and Vilander.
