Two and a half years after the interruption of his professional career, Simon Jean-Joseph (42 years old) is preparing to make his return to competition. Still assisted by Jack Boyère, the Martinican is engaged in rally Terre de l?Auxerrois (April 30-May 1) on a Citroën Xsara which will be prepared by the Petter Solberg Engineering team.

After his water skiing accident in 2008, the double European rally champion (2004, 2007) was unable to recover all of his physical abilities. He had created his coaching company and served on several occasions as an usher for Petter Solberg on asphalt rallies. Remember that Jean-Joseph – Boyère have already won the Terre de l'Auxerrois twice, in 2000 aboard a Subaru Impreza group A and in 2003 on a Renault Clio Super 1600.
