Englishman Guy Wilks took his Proton Neo Satria S2000 to fourth position in each of the first two stages of Rally Russia. On each occasion he was ahead of the second official Abarth Grande Punto S2000, driven by Anton Alén who was struggling to find the right pace. Two special stages are still on the program for the evening of an event contested over three days and as many stages.
