David Brabham took his first laps at the wheel of the HPD ARX-01c, taking over from Marino Franchitti, who himself succeeded simon pagenaud. The latter had confided that third place was playable. Fourth is already achieved since Paul Drayson, the British minister, is driving the Lola-Judd n°8 at a much slower pace than Emanuele Pirro and Jonny Cocker, in addition to having encountered a problem with his engine cover.
