Emanuele Pirro (Lola-Judd Drayson Racing) took advantage of the traffic generated by the leaders of the GT2 category to overtake Sébastien Bourdais (Peugeot 908 HDi FAP n°08) and take second place in the race. Alex Wurz (908 n°07) is still in the lead.
Emanuele Pirro slipped between two GT2 cars to take the inside of his corner, leaving Sébastien Bourdais on the outside. However, he gave second place back to the Frenchman by passing through his pit box a few laps later.
