Kris Meeke (Peugeot 207 S2000) achieved the best shakedown time of the Rally of the Azores. The Northern Irishman, favorite in this rally which he won in 2009, drove in 1:45??8. He beat Juho Hänninen (Skoda Fabia S2000, 1:45??9) and Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia S2000, 1:48??5).
