Scott Sharp, on the sidelines of the ALMS race at Laguna Seca, announced that he was going to create his own team. Driver of the Acura of Boss Highcroft Racing, ALMS champion in the P1 category this season, the American will however continue his driving activity. His team, called Extreme Speed Motorsports, will enter a Ferrari F430 in ALMS, GT2 category. Scott Sharp has secured the partnership of Patron Spirits Company, which already sponsors the Acura Highcroft, and will receive support from Ferrari Corse Clienti. First official driver, Ed Brown is racing this season in GT Challenge.
