Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen) won his first qualifying round of the season by winning in Q3 of the World RX at Silverstone (Great Britain). The reigning world champion, who notably benefited from a drying track, retained the advantage over Sébastien Loeb (Peugeot ) who set the second fastest time ahead of his teammate Timmy Hansen.

The Swede won his race by adopting a good strategy and incisive driving and set the third time ahead of Petter Solberg (Volkswagen) and Mattias Ekström (Audi).

Jérôme Grosset-Janin (Renault) set the ninth fastest time, far ahead of his teammate Guerlain Chicherit who did not benefit from the best conditions. Grégoire Demoustier (Peugeot) is in 19th place, three places ahead of Hervé Knapick Lemonnier (DS 3).
