Petter Solberg (Volkswagen) set the best time in Q1 of World RX at Silverstone (Great Britain). The three-time world champion won his race after resisting Sébastien's attacks Loeb (Peugeot ) who set the third fastest time behind Mattias Ekström (Audi). Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen) and Andreas Bakkerud (Audi) completed the Top 5.
Jérôme Grosset-Janin (Renault) took 12th time while his teammate Guerlain Chicherit finished 18th. Hervé “Knapick” Lemmonier (DS 3) finished in 22nd and penultimate position, Andrew Jordan (Ford) having retired following a broken suspension.
