The new series organized by Stuart McCrudden, already promoter of the British series, will occur alongside the rounds of the Le Mans Series. It will bring together prototypes from the CN 2 liter category equipped with Honda engines, like those which power the races.Endurance modern prototype of the FFSA/V Series of V. The Speed EuroSeries events offer a 90′ or one hour format, for two drivers per car.
Among the competitors using Norma, Ligier, WRF, Wolf, Radical, Juno, Jade, Gloria, Promec, Lucchini or other Osella, we should find several French teams: IRS and Blue One have already confirmed their commitment for the first meeting you from Castellet, while Pegasus, Extrême LImite and Island Motorsport are interested in it.
With the support of Honda Motor Europe, and the provision as a safety car of a CR-Z Racer hybrid coupe developed by HPD in the United States, Speed Euroseries also receives the contribution of Oreca. The winning drivers will thus be offered a test with a Formula Le Mans from the manufacturer at the end of the season.
