Tréluyer: “Better armed for Le Mans”

The 1000 km of Spa-Francorchamps, on May 9, were not easy for the crew of the No. 8 Audi. Marcel Fässler, André Lotterer and Benoît Tréluyer made their first (and last) race behind the wheel of the R15 further ahead Le Mans. Despite a difficult test to say the least (13th at the finish) for our three friends, Benoît Tréluyer is confident, less than a month before the big meeting in mid-June.

“We had problems, we learned things and we are now much better equipped to face Le Mans, explains the French pilot. The mistakes we made here, we will not repeat them in Sarthe. What we had prepared without anyone around us, without other cars on the track, in dry or rainy weather but never in between was not enough. We missed the pressure of competition! »
