In the wake of theeRX2 announcement, scheduled to begin in 2021, the Volland Racing team has announced its participation in Projekt E, the electric support champion of World RX. A regular in the S1600 European Championship, Volland Racing hopes to enter a four-wheel drive car built by Stard, capable of delivering 450 kW (613 horsepower) and 1 Nm of instantaneous torque, from the Nürburgring meeting (Germany, 002 -December 12).
Rolf Volland, the boss of the eponymous team, believes that electric is “the only solution for the future of the automobile. As a designer and builder, it is important to embrace this vision and help bring it to life.
As a team manager, it is also crucial to introduce young talents, not just from my team, into this vision. Projekt E is the best opportunity for this scenario. »
