So many twists and turns in this first hour of a 1000km race, off to a flying start! The opposition betweenAston Martin by Stefan Mücke, the Oreca of Nicolas lapierre and Dany Watts' Ginetta Zytek animated the first laps.
Only Nicolas Lapierre and Oreca lost three laps following a fuel tank problem.
After the first pit stops, where all the leaders opted for a double stint, Stefan Mücke has barely a second ahead of Jean-Christophe Boullion, aboard the Pescarolo-Judd. Third, Dany Watts is 15 seconds behind. Bruno Senna is fourth.
In LMP2, Olivier Pla widened the gap against the Zytek of Philip Peter. Patrice Goueslard leads in LMGT1 ahead of the Saleen of Stéphane Lemeret. In LMGT2, Patrick Pilet remains a solid leader ahead of the Ferrari by Antonio Garcia. But after an hour of racing, these two drivers have not yet passed each other in the pits.
